MY PSA
1. The key points that I emphasis are about obesity
2. The visuals that I am thinking of presenting is like a black screen filled with words scrolling over.
3.MY type of PSA is an informational video where it is only visuals and background music.
4. Outline
I want to start of with the title and then do scrolling side like important facts and health concerns for obesity. I am making it towards an information based ad rather than an entertainment type of ad.

The length exceeds more than 30 seconds but I strongly feel that this is one of the most powerful videos that I have seen. It is a powerful anti-obesity video where it takes you back in time, where the kid first ate french fries. It is disturbing in a good way because now I feel like I strongly think what Fast food does to one child.

This video can kind of make an exception. This video is way different than the first one because it is an informational video were it presents stats. It is a good video but I feel like the first one is effective.

I actually gained some knowledge as of reading that piece because I did PSA videos in the past and it was close to a minute or two long. I did not know there had to be a cap for PSA videos. Also I thought it was an awareness type of deal, but a PSA video is actually counted as an advertisement. My favorite part was the introduction, the way it was structured where you had a "A" and a "B" option. After reading the whole PDF document, I have a clear understanding of what PSA is.

Capstone Project Statement of Intent
a) the goals of the project is to raise awareness of childhood obesity. 46% of children in America are obese. If you think about it, that is a high percentage
b) It is important because it is an uprising health issue and if we do not take action then it waill turn out to be a devastating factor in the future. Our kids are our future and that is what we need to nourish first.
c)I want to be a nurse. I want to care for the people, so I decided to start from my children's health. I strongly believe that a nurse's role should not be only at a hospital but towards the society. The person should be caring for the whole community. That is one other reason why I am doing this because this could be considered as an outside activity.
